The Holiday Season is upon us but it’s an odd one for sure.
All those principals, partners and workers that normally jetted out of the country are staying put, in some capacity that is.
It’s been a weird year, mentally exhausting and for a lot, no so good on the body too. We normally see the market quieten off from the start of December through to the end of January. This is a special year… the phones are still ringing, buyers are still upset they can’t get ‘their’ practice, which tells us, we are still in a ‘Sellers’ Market’.
I have a sneaky suspicion, we will see conversations all through the break with eager buyers, vendors or intel gatherers finally having time to focus on expansion, divestment or an opportunistic engagement – what else can one do(?).
So…. we are staying open and gently working through the holiday season.
